Today's mail call is from a friend Craig Minor out of the state of Connecticut and I'm looking forward to trying this edge on this Gold Dollar 66. This specific razor was honed completely with Arkansas Oil Stones which I have never shaved with before and I'm really excited to try out. I have a Soft Arkansas oil stone but that's all I have and this razor was honed from start to finish with other Arkansas oil stones that are not in my collection which will be really cool:

I'm very pleased to have another Gold Dollar 66 in my collection again. They hone very well and take a really nice edge that lasts and I really enjoy using the old 66. I will be returning the favor and sending my friend a razor with one of my edges on it once I get my stones in place which will be really fun. I do plan on adding more Arkansas oil stones to my collection here pretty soon. I'm just not sure when that will be just yet because I am in need of doing a couple of soap buying sprees to replenish my soap collection. I've kindly burned through it this year.
