Endurance:

Today is "Soap Commander Sunday" and a true classic was up next in the rotation. If you like the smell of "old spice" then you will love this scent. It's the 1938 vintage version of Old Spice and I need to get another puck of this soap because I'm nearly out of it. The shave started off terrible. One stroke with the injector and I could tell right away that I got another dud blade and it was the 1st blade out of a new pack. So I said to heck with it and grabbed another razor which was a night and day difference for the better and it pretty much saved today's shave. Between the epic performance of Soap Commander's products and switching razors, I got a really good shave today. It was quite a BBS or "ice rink" but it was very satisfying:

Until I can either get some better blades for my injector replica or I get word that my "Alumigoose" razor is ready and is shipped, the Edwin Jagger DE 89 and Perma-Sharp blades are back in the rotation. I found 2 other injector blades for it. One is made by Persona which is probably not quite what I'm looking for now that my beard has gotten much tougher over the past couple of years. So there's a good chance that they won't work for me. The other is Kai and according to Amazon, they fit ALL injector razors. I've used Kai's in the past and I can compare them with Feather DE blades in terms of sharpness which may be what I'm looking for in the injector razor. Only time will tell for sure on BOTH of these blades:

All I know for sure at this point, is that Schick Injector blades are out. I'll do another blog post to give more information about them later today in another blog post.
