Chocolate Bourbon:

Today I felt like using a DE and I really wanted a close shave so I busted out the old Phoenix double open comb razor and some bolzano superinox blades. I may get a 100 pack of these blades instead of the Feather DE blades because they're just as sharp if not not sharper than the Feather blades are. But unlike the Feather blades, these have no razor burn and are much more comfortable to use. I went full tilt PAA today except for the brush which I plan on fixing pretty soon:

I also went longer on heating up my scuttle this morning which made a huge difference as well. Instead of the usual 1 minute in the microwave, I went 2 minutes. PAA's soap loved it and then some. It was twice as slick than it normally was and due to the extra heat, I got a true BBS shave that gets everyone hooked on wet shaving. I like to call it "the ice rink type of shave". It's where you have no left over hair or stubble and your face is smooth and cool like an ice rink.
