Hitting The Stones Today:

I got excited about my lapping film coming in and couldn't wait so I pulled out my Norton 4/8K combo and spent a little time on it today. I started off with 10 round trips on each side of the stone and then I did 40,20,10, and 5 seconds on each side of the razor followed by 10 more round trips. I did this on both sides of the stone so that should do it for now. When my lapping film comes in, I'll do my usual "mail call" like I always do, and then I'll do from the 12K grit on up to the 50K grit to see how keen and comfortable of an edge I can get after doing that:


There's really no need to reset the bevel because I only have 1 straight razor now with a new one on the way which will be cool.
