Well after some serious thought and due to the circumstances with my Gold Dollar 208, I've decided NOT to get anymore of Norton's water stones. Don't get me wrong, they're good products and great for those who are just getting started honing, but it's time I go to the next level. I'll be keeping my flattening stone and the 8K side of this combo stone for now:
I'm still looking at various honing stones out there and as most of you know, I have to get what my budget will allow me to get. Hopefully come first of the year, I'll be working on something that will help me out with that part of the equation. my Norton 4/8K combo will basically used as a touch up only stone until I can get a proper set of stones.
