Well today's shave was great. I happened to have one of my appointments cancel this morning and was able to enjoy a straight razor shave about 1.5 hours ago. I nailed the edge on this razor by using my old routine which pretty much tells me that I need to stick with it and quit experimenting. Unfortunately I also have to quit using this soap due to an allergic reaction that started during the last pass of the shave. I hate it when I get a soap that's in my wheel house and have to stop using it due to sensitive skin issues. I know it was the soap because it quit when I wiped the residue off with a wash cloth. The scent on the soap is a smoky type of scent:
