I know I said that my next shave would be Sunday, but I could NOT wait so I went ahead and used my latest acquisition with the Phoenix double open comb safety razor and it was an incredible shave. It was a true BBS shave. The Mary Kay foam has really impressed me in the performance department and the aftershave lotion is awesome. I'll definitely be looking at getting more of the aftershave lotion and I'm also wanting to try the men's colognes that they have to offer:
For those that still use the canned shaving foams and gels out there with a safety razor and are wondering how well the Doc. performs using those types of products, get this razor. It was phenomenal and had no trouble going through the canned foam and my beard at all today. The straight razor is still my personal favorite, but in terms of safety razor this one is the best you can get period.
