Purpose & The Jinhou:

Today's shave was epic. This has got to be one of the best edges I've ever put on a razor period and with the new water stone I have, it only took around 1/5th of the time that it normally did to hone a razor which was a much more enjoyable experience. As usual Soap Commander delivered top notch performance and their Purpose was up next in my rotation which was a Bay Rum scented soap and it's also just about the only one that doesn't cause me any issues. I'm good to go as long as it doesn't have too much clove oil like some do :

The post shave feel I have right now is yet another "ice rink" which is always a good thing. Next pay day will be interesting because I will be getting a Shapton 15K Professional water stone and I'll be looking at a lower grit stone to replace my 4K side because I can no longer use it. Plus I'm also looking at getting back into pastes as well. The best part about yesterday's honing session was that I wasn't even remotely tired from it and I even took a little extra time on each razor. My confidence is through the roof now after yesterday's honing session.
