Well add 1 more mail call to the list. After sharing my previous post in all of the Face Book groups, and G+ communities I participate in, I remembered that the stone I ordered comes without a base. So went over to Best Sharpening Stones' website and ordered a universal stone holder which cost me exactly $22.90 shipped. I can't believe that I had forgotten to get a stone holder:
