Honing Time!

After some thought, I decided to do a little honing on my Japanese natural stone. So after I built a slurry using my diamond plate, I did 30 seconds worth of half strokes (the Esposito method) followed by 10 round trips to clean up the edge. The beverage is Dunkin Donuts' Decaf coffee :


After I finished this method on all 3 of my straight razors, I did 12 round trips on the smooth leather side of my strop which should be plenty.
