Progildes Vs. Proshields:

I've been asked many times about the differences between the Proshields & Proglides. The first is the blade gap. You don't have much with Proglides on the left while you have quite a bit more with the Proshields on the right. The second thing is the angle of the blades. The Proglides have a much steeper angle than the Proshields do. What this means is that the Proshields will shave closer and are easier to rinse during a shave. The final difference is with the Proshields on the right. Do you see the yellow strip at the top & bottom? That's actually an extra lubrication strip that lubricates the skin before the blades remove the hair and combined with the one on top of the Proshields, you get a much more soothing shave compared to the Proglides. Now with the Proglides on the left, you get a completely different lubrication strip at the top with the standard rubber fins at the bottom:

Another difference is the costs. It costs a lot more for the Proshield due to the extra lubrication strip at the bottom than it does to produce the Proglides. The price difference is roughly about $5 U.S. Dollars for the small refill pack give or take a little. How the Proglides shave will be a mystery to me because there's a good chance that Gillette changed what kind of edge they put on the blades. So far my favorite in terms of comfort is the Proshields hands down.

I'm In A Good Place:

First, let me take a moment to say thank you for all the prayers and well wishes during this difficult time. I also want to take a moment to...
